Cementos Portland Valderrivas has decided to sponsor San Antonio, the ASOBAI handball team based in Pamplona. for another three seasons. This sponsorship amounts to three million Euro.

With this sponsorship Cementos Pórtland Valderrivas, with registered offices in Pamplona, would like to support Navarre sport in general and handball in particular.

The Portland San Antonio honorary patroness is Esther Koplowitz, first shareholder in FCC and vice-president of the Board of Directors at Cementos Portland Valderrivas, S.A.

With these three new seasons that makes eleven seasons during which San Antonio will have been sponsored by the cement company. The eight previous seasons have been full of sporting successes to the extent that Portland San Antonio have become one of the most outstanding teams in European handball.

At the beginning of September the Navarre team achieved its latest title: the Spanish Supercup, for which, as standing ASOBAI league champion, they placed against King?s Cup holders, BM Valladolid.

They have won the following titles over these last few years:
