Cemusa lands contract in Milan, Italy's largest outdoor advertising market

CEMUSA, a subsidiary of FCC, has signed a cooperation agreement with Italian company TMC under which it will have a presence in Italy's largest outdoor advertising market while contributing to the preserving the city's heritage. The agreement was signed on Monday, 2 October.

CEMUSA, the world's leading manager of site furniture and outdoor advertising, which was recently awarded the New York City site furniture contract, will exploit 96 large-format outdoor advertising spaces in the heart of Milan.

The contract has been awarded by TMC S.r.l., an Italian company with acknowledged expertise in restoring historic buildings, which was recently commissioned by the Milan City Government to restore the Spanish wall (Mura Spagnole)-part of the fortifications built when Italy was under Spanish dominion in the 16th century-in exchange for a concession to manage advertising space.

The contract will strengthen Cemusa's position in the Italian market by providing it with a very strong product in Milan, the outdoor advertising market most in demand among Italian advertisers, in addition to its pre-existing position in Genoa, Parma and Bologna.
