FCC has sent the following communiqué to the National Securities Market Commission today:

With regard to the article printed in the 'Cinco Días' daily on May 25, we would like to inform the Commission as to the following:

1. The Company has full certainty as to the fact that the relations between its controlling stockholders Esther Koplowitz and the Vivendi Group are excellent, the Company's strategy-related decisions always being made out of mutual agreement and for the purpose of maximizing the results and of creating value for all of the stockholders.

2. The conjectures included in the article in question are totally unfounded under the current circumstances, and we must express our regrets as to the dissemination thereof insofar as they may entail the market and public opinion being ill-informed.

3. This Company fulfills and shall continue to fulfill its obligation of informing this Commission, for the public dissemination thereof, as to any circumstance or transaction which were to be of a nature of importance for the market.
