The L'Anoia Health Consortium (Barcelona), part of the Catalán Health Service, has agreed to propose that FCC Construcción be awarded the contract for the construction of the Hospital de Igualada, with a budget of 33.2 million euros.

This is a new hospital in the form of a cross with a two-storey rectangular section measuring 173 x 60 m intersected by four more floors measuring 105 x 18 m. It is a 134-room hospital with general services, doctor's offices, surgical theatres, etc. The construction itself will occupy some 26,000 square metres on a plot of land measuring 32.000 square metres.

The Galician Health Service (SERGAS), part of the Galician government, has awarded the company a contract for the rehabilitation and upgrading of the Meixoerio Hospital in Vigo in the amount of 9.9 million euros. This project includes in-depth reforms with changes to four current floors measuring 4,000 m2 and a new addition measuring 6,500 m2.
