Atlantic Artery of High Speed Train

The Ministry of Development has awarded FCC a contract to build the Padrón-Osebe (La Coruña) section of the Atlantic Artery of the High Speed Train, a contract valued at 23 million euros. This is a 4.2 kilometre section on which the existing track will be widened and rehabilitated and includes an 810 m tunnel designed for a speed of 220 km/h.

FCC currently has contracts to build some 140 km of the high speed train system corresponding to the Madrid-Barcelona, Madrid-Noroeste, Zaragoza-Huesca and Asturias-León lines.
