FCC Group joins the Spanish Ministry of Health’s project to develop the anonymous CV

The ceremony for joining the project took place this morning. It was chaired by Mario Garcés Sanagustín, Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality, and by the Director of the Institute for Women, Lucía del Carmen Cerón, and it was attended by representatives of FCC Group companies who signed the agreement. A total of 78 companies have joined this programme.

The purpose of the protocol is to set up a general framework of collaboration between the Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality and FCC Group to design, prepare and monitor a project to promote the implementation of the depersonalised recruitment processes. This will help prevent any gender bias in recruitment processes for staff, and as relevant, professional promotion. In FCC’s case, the commitment covers the group of directors of the three signing companies in the Group.

The ‘Anonymous CV’ project is a new initiative started by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality to reduce the employment discrimination of women and the gender salary gap. It joins the existing ones of the Equality Badge network of companies, of aids to implement equality plans in SMEs, the ‘More Women, Better Companies’ and ‘Promociona’ projects and the Management Development programme for the promotion of women to posts of responsibility, and the design of tools to self-diagnose the salary gap and the assessment of work posts.
