Solar Energy in Urban Furniture

The subsidiary Cemusa will install photovoltaic solar energy in 3,000 bus stop hoardings in Dade County (Miami, Florida). The energy generated by these panels, with a total installed power of 1,920 KWp, will cut down on annual CO2 emissions by 2,304 tons.

This project has been made possible thanks to the concession awarded to Cemusa for the installation, maintenance, conservation and operation of outdoor advertising and urban furniture in this county in the South-eastern the United States. A total of 9.5 million dollars will be invested in the solar system.

Cemusa will lease the advertising space at the bus stop hoardings, which will generate enough solar energy using a BP solar photovoltaic system to keep four 32-watt high performance fluorescent tubes lit during the night (for at least 6 hours).
