The net turnover of Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, S.A. (FCC) during the first half of this year was 403,562 million pesetas (2,425.46 million euros), an increase of 18.2 compared to the same period last year.
Of this amount, 56,522 million pesetas (339.70 million euros) came from international business, with an increase of 27%, or 347,040 million pesetas (2,085.75 million euros) from the domestic market.

The before-tax profits were 40,671 million pesetas (244.4 million euros), an increase of 16.4% compared to the same period last year.
The net profits, after discounting taxes and profits pertaining to minority undertakings, were 20,296 million pesetas (121.98 million euros), an increase of 19.3%.
As of June 30th of this year, the service and construction projects pending execution by all of the companies of the FCC Group amounted to 2.292 billion pesetas (13,777 million euros), a 20.8% increase compared to the same date last year.
The Group's investments during the same period amounted to 31,566 million pesetas (189.72 million euros), an increase of 23.8%.
As of the same date, the companies of the Group had 51,661 employees.
