FCC Medio Ambiente supports efficient waste management and energy recovery at recwatt 2016

FCC Medio Ambiente will be one of the sponsors of RECUWATT 2016, the top international conference in Spain on recycling and energy, where leading experts and professionals in the field from both the public and private sector will meet in Mataró (Barcelona) on the 26th, 27th and 28th October.

Furthermore, the Citizen Services Group will also lend its support to the organising committee for the staging of this year’s edition. This international gathering will include presentations on the most relevant aspects and current developments in waste management, such as new treatment technologies, resource efficiency and sustainability, or the concept and model of the new circular economy.

On the 26th, an open day will also be held for local authorities entitled ‘Local authorities and municipal waste’ that will seek to provide answers to the ongoing challenges of integrated waste management.

The presence of FCC at RECUWATT demonstrates the Group’s commitment to the pursuit of innovation and development of new environmentally-friendly techniques for efficient waste management, as well as the great importance energy recovery from waste holds for the Environment division.
