FCC Medio Ambiente (the Spanish brand for FCC Environment) has been recognised by the Fundación Integra for its commitment to the people at risk of social exclusion in the workforce.
The awards were presented during the annual celebration held by the Fundación Integra to companies committed to socially responsible employment, the inclusion of the disabled and those at risk of social exclusion from the labor market.

The ceremony was held under the title "Progressing in our commitment: 10,000 social employment opportunities" and was chaired by the Minister of Employment and Social Security, Fátima Báñez, the Executive Chair of the Fundación Integra, Ana Botella, and Juan Chozas, Corporate Persons Director of Bankia.

The award was accepted on behalf of FCC Medio Ambiente by Jordi Payet, Chief Executive Officer of FCC Medio Ambiente.

Currently, FCC maintains a collaboration agreement with the Fundación Integra for the training and employment insertion of groups at risk of social exclusion. FCC’s Equality and Diversity Management team works continuously for the integration of these groups in the employment world and is involved in the causes that concern communities in which the company operates. Some of the beneficiary groups are female victims of gender violence, disabled people, women living in situations of social exclusion, as well as social disadvantaged young men and women.
In addition, in accordance with its equality and diversity policy, FCC promotes and drives actions designed to favour equality and to set up employment practices to guarantee that none of its staff receives unfavourable treatment due to a different capability or for any other unjustified reason unconnected with skills, knowledge and professional performance.
