FCC Environment and "la Caixa" foundation join to promote the social-labour inclusion of people at risk of exclusion
- With the signing of this agreement, FCC Medio Ambiente (the Spanish brand for FCC Environment) sets the objective of encouraging the hiring of vulnerable groups such as the disabled, the young at risk of exclusion, victims of gender abuse, the long-term unemployed and immigrants, among others, through the "la Caixa" Incorpora programme.

FCC Medio Ambiente and "la Caixa" foundation have signed a collaboration agreement to encourage the social insertion of persons at risk of social exclusion through the Incorpora programme, promoted by the financial entity. Its objective is to increase the hiring of vulnerable groups and to provide information, training and advice to the companies taking part in this action.
The agreement was signed in CaixaForum Madrid by Jorge Payet, Chief Executive Officer of FCC Medio Ambiente and by the Deputy CEO of “La Caixa” foundation, Marc Simón, and formalises the collaboration undertaken in the various Spanish regions since 2006, achieving more than 300 employment insertions.
Within the framework of this agreement, the company undertakes to manage the hiring of persons at risk of exclusion in collaboration with Incorpora. Through this programme, the company will report the various professional profiles to be filled, a demand which will be shared with the organisations that form part of the programme and that pre-select the candidates.
Incorpora: promoting employment integration
Incorpora was born in 2006 to build bridges between companies and social organisations dedicated to employment integration to create a climate of collaboration and opportunities for those who most need them. The initiative is aimed at groups of persons such as the disabled, the young at risk of exclusion, immigrants, ex-prisoners, victims of gender abuse and the long-term unemployed.
Incorpora offers companies a free service of advice and accompaniment in corporate social responsibility actions, focused in this case on the employment integration of persons in a situation of vulnerability.
During 2017, the Incorpora organisation of "la Caixa" enabled a total of 30,319 employment insertions to persons at risk or in a situation of exclusion, thanks to the collaboration of more than 10,000 Spanish companies.
