Feliciano Fuster was today named a director of Cementos Portland Valderrivas, S.A., the cement company owned by the FCC Group as part of the renovation of the board following the resignation of the representatives of Veolia Environnement.

The resigning directors are: Jerôme Contamine, Jean-Claude Douvry, Jean-Françoise Dubos, Gustave Duch, Serge Michel, Olivier Orsini and Marc Reneaume.

The new directors are: Ibersuizas Alfa, S.L., represented by Luis Chicharro Ortiga; Feliciano Fuster Jaume, José Llorens Torra and José Ignacio Taberna Ruiz.

Feliciano Fuster, former chairman of Endesa and Chair of the Social Council of the Unviversity of the Balearic Islands, is an expert in the energy sector and has been an adviser to Esther Koplowitz, FCC's majority shareholder, for years.

Following this restructuring, the Board of Directors of Cementos Portland Valderrivas, presided by Rafael Martínez-Ynzenga, has been reduced to 15 members.

Changes were also made to the Executive Committee. The vacancies brought about by the resignation of Serge Michel and Marc Reneaume will be filled by Luis Chicharro and Antonio Pérez Colmenero.
