José Mayor Oreja, Chairman of FCC Construcción, S.A.

José Mayor Oreja, 44 years of age, Doctor of Civil Engineering, was appointed today Chairman of the Board of Directors of FCC Construcción, S.A., the affiliate of the FCC Group which handles the group's construction activities.

He replaces Emilio Cebamanos who will continue to sit on FCC's Board of Directors.

Jesús Calvo Iñarra, until now the General Manager of Construction, has been named Vice President of the Board of Directors, while Abel Matutes, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, has joined the Board as a member.

FCC's Board of Directors is now composed of the following members:

Prior to his appointment, the new Chairman of FCC Construcción, S.A. was the General Manager of the ACS Group of companies. Prior to that he was the Managing Director of Auxini, Cobra and Protecsa.

José Mayor Oreja has also worked for the Eulen Group and was the General Manager of Prosesa, the Group's security company.

He has also held government posts as the Cabinet Chief for the President of Iryda with the Ministry of Culture and as the Chief of Planning and Programs for the Ministry of Transportation's Directorate General of Infrastructures.
