FCC Environment and Spain's General Board of Technical Industrial Engineering (COGITI) sign a partnership agreement

FCC Medio Ambiente (the Spanish brand for FCC Environment) and Spain's General Board of Technical Industrial Engineering (COGITI) have just signed a partnership agreement for the company's employees and executives to be able to use the Board’s e-learning training platform and its courses under preferred terms.

The agreement has been signed at FCC's Las Tablas offices by the head of Human Resources in the environmental services area, Luis Suárez Zarcos, and the Chair of Spain's General Board of Technical Industrial Engineering, José Antonio Galdón Ruiz.

COGITI is providing FCC Medio Ambiente with a series of e-learning technical courses on its e-learning platform at www.cogitiformacion.es. , The training programmes, which can be fully subsidized for FCC employees, focus on PLCs (linear and structured programming – Step 7 Siemens), comprehensive maintenance management and improvement of energy efficiency in low-voltage industrial electrical facilities. COGITI also offers a job portal (www.proempleoingenieros.es) to recruit Technical Industrial Engineers and Engineers. FCC Medio Ambiente may post job offers to recruit new qualified professionals. At the moment, 13,700 engineers and over 1,200 companies have registered on the portal Proempleoingenieros.
This partnership reinforces the company's goal to hire talent and help all of its employees with their professional development. Staff training is one of FCC Environment's strategic objectives with a view to improving employees' productivity and their health and safety at work.

Spain's General Board of Technical Industrial Engineering consists of 49 official associations of industrial engineers and technical industrial engineers in Spain, with over 80,000 members.
