Passenger transport

FCC-Connex Corporación, S.L., a 50:50 joint venture of FCC and Veolia Transport, manages mass transit operations through two companies:

Corporación Jerezana de Transportes, S.A. (COJETUSA), which holds the urban bus concession in Jerez de la Frontera; it carries over 5 million passengers per year on its 55 buses.

Detren, Compañía General de Servicios Ferroviarios, operates the Diagonal and Besòs tramlines in Barcelona, carrying close to 24 million passengers per year with a fleet of more than 37 trams on 31 kilometres of track.

FCC also has a stake in the 40-year concession to manage the Parla tramline, which loops around that city, connecting its various neighbourhoods to the Renfe commuter rail network.
