FCC Group's 2nd Corporate Responsibility Master Plan 2009-2010
Every two years, FCC's Board of Directors approves a CR Master Plan that serves to harmonise its interests as a group with the specifics of its various businesses in this area.
The strategic objective of the Group and its business areas, as established by FCC's Board of Directors, is commitment to the sustainability of its activities by encouraging socially-responsible actions which meet stakeholder expectations. This commitment has also been included in the group's current strategic plan (Plan 10).
The 2009-2010 Master Plan details six strategic action lines, each of which responds to the goal of FCC's Strategic Plan (Plan 10) to respond to challenges in the field of social responsibility. Among other objectives, the new Master Plan consolidates the organisational structure from which FCC's social responsibility strategy and initiatives are articulated, driven and supported.

Approved initiatives include disseminating, training and raising awareness among employees and suppliers as regards FCC's Code of Ethics and the 10 Principles of the United Nations' Global Compact.
To ensure the staff's professional development, the company emphasises talent management through plans to recruit and retain talent. Equality and improved workplace health and safety plans are also envisaged.
FCC Group's 1st Corporate Responsibility Master Plan 2007-2008
The 2007-2008 Plan included objectives relating to corporate governance, recruiting and retaining talent, workplace health and safety, combating climate change, eco-efficiency, and dialogue and cooperation.
Of all the projects implemented for compliance with the objectives set forth in the 2007-2008 Plan, the most significant ones, due to their organisation-wide scope and their novelty in respect of the trend set in previous projects, were the approval of a group-wide Code of Ethics, the launch of a corporate volunteer programme, the functioning of the CR Committee and of the various business areas, and the inclusion of CR as one of the linchpins of FCC's strategic plan: "Plan 10". In recognition of this work, the Group has been admitted as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
