International activity now dominates this business area: it represents 55% of total income, mainly generated in Europe. FCC has a particularly noteworthy position in Austria through Alpine, the second largest construction group in Austria, (which accounts for 41.4% of its international sales), Germany (18.9%) and the emerging countries of the EU, most significantly Poland (5%), Romania (5%) and Bulgaria (3.4%). Outside the EU, it has a significant presence in Latin America, which accounts for 5.5% and Asia (China, India and Singapore), 2.7%.
