FCC celebrates tolerance and stands up for diversity on the International Day for Tolerance On 16 November 16 2020, the In- ternational Day of Tolerance took place, FCC once again expressed its commitment to this day that the UN has celebrated every year sin- ce 1996, the objective of which is to promote mutual understanding be- tween cultures and peoples around the world. Through the Foundation for Diver- sity campaign, with whom we have been renewing our commitment to the Diversity Charter since 2014, we join this day and support its actions to defend diversity in our society. The Diversity Charter is an initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate of Justice for the develop- ment of its anti-discrimination policies. The Diversi- ty Foundation, promoted by the Alares Foundation, is exclusively responsible for providing this seal in Spain, which responds to a code of voluntary com- mitment to support and promulgate the principles of inclusion of diversity and non-discrimination in the workplace. FCC has renewed its commitment to the Spanish Di- versity Charter for the period 2019-2021, in recogni- tion of its equality policies, its commitment to social inclusion and its commitment to being an increasingly diverse and socially responsible company, promoting actions and projects to foster inclusion and equality through employment. About the Diversity Charter Diversity Management is a commit- ment of the FCC Group, which aims to promote the cultural change ne- cessary to address the challenges faced by the company as a result of its growing internationalization and to optimize the management of teams of people with diverse profi - les in the organization. The principles of the Diversity Char- ter are in line with the company’s Equality and Diversity Policy which establishes the integration of diver- sity as a core element in all of its activities.
