FCC Medio Ambiente begins waste collection and street cleaning service in Coslada (Madrid) Commitment to the environment through the use of zero -emissions machinery The company will provide its services in the municipality for the next five years for a total of 25 million euro. A joint venture formed by FCC Me- dio Ambiente and Acciona began providing solid urban waste collec- tion and street cleaning services in the municipality of Coslada (Ma- drid) on 25 January. The contract involves a 25-million-euro portfolio for the next five years, which can be extended for another five years. It should be noted that the newly acquired machinery provided by the joint venture will be powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or electric engines, so it will have an ECO or Zero Emissions environ- mental label. This shows the com- mitment of Coslada Town Council to respect the environment, sus - tainable development and the fight against climate change.
