CEMUSA, the FCC subsidiary which specialises in urban furniture, has won an international tender to install and operate the advertising on urban furniture in Bologna (Italy), including the historical centre and the city's largest commercial district, for a period of four and a half years.

The company will install 950 "stendardi" (advertising supports) and 150 billboards. The contract is valued at 22 million euros.

Bologna is one of the four Italian cities in highest demand by advertisers because of its wealth and economic importance. It is also the site of one of the western world's oldest universities and host to numerous scientific, academic and cultural activities.

Cemusa's presence in Italy dates back to 2001 when it won a contract award in Genoa. A year later it won another contract award in Parma and another last year for the Fiumicino Airport (Rome).
