This certification confirms that FCC Construction has implemented a management system which reinforces and protects information security with a focus on continuous improvement. The leading advantages of ISO 27001 certification include: the implementation of proper controls to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information; the ability of an organisation to be aware of its risks, identify and diminish threats, and comply with various regulations (protection of personal data, information society services, e-commerce, intellectual property, and information security).

In the International Organisation for Standardisation's latest report, Spain was ranked eighth by number of ISO 27001 certifications.

FCC Group companies as a whole have more than 170 AENOR certifications in the areas of Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSAS 18001), R&D&I Management (UNE 166002), and Energy Management (UNE 216301). Additionally, AENOR has certified 2,677 tonnes of CO2 for FCC Construction under Spain's National Allocation Plan.
