The Grupo Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, S.A. (FCC) reported net revenues of 632,137 million pesetas (3.799.22 million euros) for the first nine months of 2001, an increase of 19% compared to the same period last year.
Of the total revenues, international business accounted for 95.793 million pesetas (576.73 million euros), an increase of 31.1% over the same period last year.
All of the FCC Group's business areas experienced similar growth during the first nine months.

The ordinary results were 53.31 million pesetas (322.33 million euros), an increase of 13% over the first three quarters of 2000, while the before-tax profits were 59.618 billion pesetas (358.31 million euros).
After deducting taxes and the proportional part of the profits corresponding to minority shareholders, the net profits were 29.299 million pesetas (176.09 million euros), a 16.6 % increase over the previous fiscal year.
The Group employed an average of 52,818 people and created 2,314 new jobs over the last 12 months.
The portfolio of contracts and services pending execution was 2.273 billion pesetas (13.662 million euros) which represents a 19% increase over the same date in 2000.
