As part of its commitment to sustainable development, rational management of resources and the search for innovative solutions that contribute to improving respect for the environment, the Citizen Services Group has implemented a system for the energy management of its headquarters' building in Las Tablas (Madrid), based on the ISO-50001 standard.

This system requires measuring the consumption of the different facilities so that, in the case of identifying an unexpected increase, the causes that have originated it are identified and subsequently to seek and implement proposals that improve energy efficiency.

During 2018-2019, FCC has managed to improve the energy efficiency of its headquarters by taking responsible measures to reduce consumption:

• Continuous optimisation of the air conditioning and lighting setpoints.
• Renewal of consuming equipment for other equipment with a higher energy efficiency (for example, LED lighting in offices).
• Improvement of energy efficiency in facilities.
• These measures have resulted in savings that have led to a 1% reduction of CO2 emissions in electrical energy.
