For the next fourteen years, FCC will collect recyclable solid urban waste in Vigo, after being awarded a contract by the government of this city of 300,000.

The total turnover will be in excess of 24 million euros and the contract will require an investment of more than 5 million euros in new equipment.

Soundproof equipment including side-loading containers will be used to collect to waste in order to ensure very low noise emission levels and reduced atmospheric contamination, well below the levels required by European standards.
