FCC implements "Familia" plan to integrate people with disabilities

  • FCC has 100,000 employees

FCC and Fundación Adecco have signed a cooperation agreement to foster the integration of people with disabilities into society and the labour market. The agreement envisages training and work-related orientation activities, as well as activities geared to train and prepare people with disabilities to enter the labour market in the future.

The goal of the project is to provide support to relatives of FCC's 100,000 employees that have some form of disability, and to enable them to integrate effectively into society and the labour market.

The programme will cover dependent relatives up to the first degree (children, spouse and parents of working age) with certified disability of 33% or greater.

People of working age will receive an assessment of skills and social abilities with a view to facilitating their integration into work, as well as information, guidance and advice on finding a job.

For under-age beneficiaries, Fundación Adecco will design alternative programmes as well as leisure activities with the aim of developing social and relationship skills at the same time.

Elderly beneficiaries will be offered leisure activities designed to enhance cognitive, physical, emotional, social and occupational development.

The Foundation will also design an individual plan to foster each person's integration into work and society based on their individual situation and each family's expectations and needs.
