The company Aeropuerto de Castellón, 50% of which is owned by the Generalitat Valenciana and the other 50% by the government of Castellón, has awarded the joint venture in which FCC holds a 40% interest a contract to build and manage the airport for 50 years.

It will consist of a 2.7 metre landing strip, a control tower and service buildings. The construction contract is valued at 104 million euros and must be completed within 32 months.
