Innovative solutions adapted to social needs

FCC's work on innovation leads to advances that benefit society as a whole. Each business area has its own R&D&I line in order to ensure the right response for each of their activities.

The foundation for sustainable growth

We invest significant amounts of financial and human resources in our R&D&I projects. The methodologies, techniques, systems, equipment and processes used in these projects are designed to be environmentally sustainable.

This makes it possible to minimise negative environmental impacts while at all times maintaining the quality of the service provided.

Urban development

The strategic lines of our R&D&I projects are focused on sustainable urban development.

They involve designing new products, valorising waste, optimising processes and implementing technologies for efficient waste management.

We have also improved our information technologies, process control and data management.

We have invested almost €16 million in R&D&I for these initiatives.
