Solid urban waste management for Plasencia (Cáceres) and Badajoz

The public company Explotación de Servicios Públicos Extremeños, S.A. (GESPESA) has awarded FCC a contract for the management of solid urban waste in zones 1 and 4 corresponding to Plasencia (Cáceres) and Badajoz for the next ten years. The contract is valued at 64.6 million euros.

The population served in the Plasencia area is 152,307 inhabitants and 263,134 in Badajoz. A total of 185,000 tons of solid waste will be managed per year.
