The fourth edition of Do you wath or Take part? has now announced its winners

FCC Group has internally announced the winners of the 4th edition of its international photography contest, Do you watch or Take part?, an initiative launched in celebration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week to promote awareness and understanding of the SDGs among the company's employees.

This awareness-raising and engagement campaign invited employees to capture, through their photographs, the values represented by the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, bringing together FCC Group’s workforce around sustainability, innovation, and respect for the environment.

Following the final count of likes received on the featured stories published on FCC’s official Instagram profile, the three winners of this edition have been announced:

  • First Prize: Iván Molina Vázquez, for the photograph “Where Water Gives Life.” The image portrays water as the backbone of a community, a landscape, and a way of life, reflecting the close relationship between aquatic ecosystems and cultural heritage. The photograph reminds us that protecting water also means preserving the communities, traditions, and environments that thrive around it. This image is linked to SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
  • Second Prize: Kennedy Lenis Castañeda, for the photograph “This Golden Moment Reminds Me That Beauty Emerges When We Care for What Sustains Us.” The image explores the boundary between the city and the sea, where light seems to preserve memories. That golden moment, suspended above the water, serves as a reminder that cities are not built solely with stone, but also with responsibility. Every resting vessel, every enduring façade, and every reflection shimmering across the harbour speaks of a fragile balance: living without forgetting the place that sustains us. This entry represents SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 14: Life Below Water.
  • Third Prize: Elisa Otero Blanco, for the photograph “Life in Nature.” The image depicts a green space rich in vegetation and flowers, where an animal interacts with its natural habitat, highlighting the vital importance of conserving biodiversity and protecting the natural lungs of our environment. The composition focuses on SDG 15: Life on Land.

Thank you very much to everyone who took part!
