Europe's largest cement furnace, in which 75 million euros were invested, is up and running at the factory operated by Cementos Portland Valderrivas in Alcalá de Guadaira (Sevilla).

This furnace will enable the factory to increase production by 30%, bringing it to 1.8 million tons per year. At the same time, 32 million euros have been invested in environmental measures to decrease the total contaminants from the factory by 75%, despite the increased production.
